EU legal guarantee notice for Shopify, by Rel8 CX Ltd

From 27 September 2026, every shop selling goods to consumers in the EU must display the harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity. Konform puts it on your storefront in the right language for each market, using the European Commission's own files.

It also displays the EU GARAN durability label on products where the producer offers a free durability guarantee of more than two years.

The notice is free, permanently. Displaying it is a legal requirement, and we do not charge for meeting one. The free plan covers unlimited products, all 24 official EU languages, and placing the notice wherever you want it on your storefront.

Konform never modifies the artefacts. It publishes the Commission's official files to your own Shopify account, byte for byte identical to the originals, and displays them from there.

Who builds Konform

Konform is built by Rel8 CX Ltd, a software company registered in England and Wales. We build customer experience and automation software, and we have spent years shipping systems that businesses run their day to day operations on.

We built Konform because Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 prescribes the notice down to its layout, colours and wording. There is nothing to design and nothing to get creative about. The only thing that matters is that the correct file appears, in the correct language, somewhere a shopper will actually see it.

So that is all Konform does. It uses the Commission's published files without altering them, picks the language from the market you are selling into rather than from a browser setting, and shows you a link to your own storefront so you can confirm it is live.
